Mixing And Waiting

Last night I made a triple batch. it was distributed to 12 half pint containers.

Each batch is approximately 196.485 ml, so a triple batch was around 589.455 ml, prior to spills & etc. The Mason Jars are Regular mouth half pint jars. Since 1/2 pint = 284.13 ml, the ~49 ml each of the 12 Jars recieved should take up between 1/6 – 1/5 of the volume of the mason jar.

Process:

Mix the TEOS & Ethyl in The magnetic mixer labeled “Fast”. While that mixes, add the Distilled Water, Ethyl, 30% Ammonia, and Ammonium Fluoride in the mixer labeled “Faster”. Wait 5 minutes for mixing. Remove spinner from “Fast” mixture, and add the Mix to “Faster”. Wait another 5 minutes. Pour the mixture as evenly as possible between the 12 mason Jars. Seal & invert the Jars. Wait for a day.

Now, it’s just the waiting part.

About Rey d`Tutto

Hey, Y'all, I've been rather ill recently, and that has kinda deprived me of the ability to post regularly. I may or may not ever post regularly again. Thank you for playing.
